We are seeking reliable, safety-conscious Student Transportation Drivers to provide transportation services to students in the Tulsa, OK, and surrounding areas. As a 1099 independent contractor, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school and/or other designated locations. This position offers flexible scheduling and earning potential based on an hourly or per-job basis.

Note:
You will be responsible for paying for all certifications and requirements. This cost will be reimbursed 4 weeks after the start date, provided receipts are provided.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Transport students to and from designated locations according to established routes and schedules.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all student passengers.
Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle. Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and Gokart Transportation dispatch.
Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Maintain accurate records as required.
Be willing and able to obtain and maintain any requirements.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Possession of a valid driver's license within the working or neighboring state, clean driving record (MVR will be reviewed).
Ability to pass a background check, including child protective services and criminal history. (No felonies or drug possession convicted charges)
Reliable and responsible with a strong commitment to safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow routes and schedules accurately.
Must be willing and able to obtain the required certifications and clearances as outlined above.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Access to a reliable and well-maintained vehicle that meets company standards (details to be provided).
Must have own car 2010 or later, and be able to pass inspection and have insurance. We will provide Under Dispatch Insurance

Must-haves The

Driver’s License in the current state
MVA Record, Complete, and must be within 30 days of attending class.
Drug Test Results must be within 30 days.
State Vehicle Inspection must be within 6 months
Fingerprint
Dot Physical
- Contractors must maintain complete trip logs, GPS data, and proof of service compliance.
There could be a few extra requirements we are waiting to hear from the districts.

Compensation:

Competitive pay ranges $30+ per hour or based on a per-job rate, depending on the route and assignment.
Payment could be bi weekly deepending on the route other payment arrangments can be made it is normally monthly.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position; therefore, you will be responsible for your own taxes and business expenses.
