Our company is looking for delivery drivers with enthusiasm
and great customer service skills. As a delivery driver, you will act as a
gatekeeper for ensuring that each customer is provided with a superior service.

Drivers will be loading and unloading products with pallet jacks and using scanners to upload data. Drivers are required to be timely and must accurately identify their load assignment upon arrival. Drivers must complete all assigned dock deliveries and return the appropriate paperwork at the end of each route.·Clean and transfer box trucks to specified doors or lot locations
·Stage freight for pick up
·Inspect box trucks for defects before and after all trips then submit inspection report indicating condition
·Inspect loaded box trucks to ensure product is secure for undamaged transport of product report any issues to Operations Manager
·Drive box trucks to and from customer locations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering on the road and on Company premises
·Meet this position's physical demands
·Ability and willingness to select/load/unload and/or deliver all products that may be ordered by our customers
·Scanning is a large part of the job function. You must be able to run/troubleshoot Smart PhoneApplications.
·Act as local back up driver
·Work well with little supervision and ability to stay on task
·Extreme attention to detail
·Must be able to read, comprehend labels, instructions / bill of lading required
·Must be able to perform mathematical calculations to verify quantities of product required
Requirements:
·Valid Driver’s License
·Must be at least 21 years of age
·Must be able to pass a background/drug screen
·Must have current DOT Card
·Must have a minimum of 6 months driving a 26ft commercial vehicle
·Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
·Work load can be 6 days a week

·Groneck will pay for re-certification of DOT after hired

Must be able to work 5 days a week. Start times vary 12:00a-3:00a
until end of route (between 5 and 9 hours long). Every driver is guaranteed 6 hour min. pay each night scheduled.  

Back up pay is payable upon no work given.

·Report any accidents or injuries to Supervisors immediately.
·Perform vehicle inspection such as checking fluid level and tire pressure. Follow
Pre-Trip/Post-trip Checklist.
·Notify supervisors about any major repairs and maintenance.
·Follow local and state driving laws and road regulations.
·Maintain the vehicle clean and safe.
·Work with support team to provide exceptional customer services and address customer concerns.
·Perform vehicle inspection before and after each trip. Adhere to company operating policies and procedures.
·Maintain driving log, prepare vehicle performance forms and complete daily paperwork
