A national courier company is looking for Independent Contractor Couriers in the St Cloud area to run a scheduled medical route M-F serving the St Cloud VA Hospital. This is a long-term opportunity starting August 1st.
All routes start with a morning pickup at the St cloud VA to pick up supplies and mail prior to heading out on the route.

1. Post Office (Morning & Afternoon)         6 miles                 $30.00 per run ($60.00/day)                 
2. Brainerd (2x per day)                               124 miles              $99.20 per run ($198.40/day)
3. Minneapolis                                              160 miles              $115.20 per run
4. Alexandria                                                131 miles              $94.32 per run (2nd run Friday afternoon)
5. Montevideo                                               200 miles              $144.00 per run

Note: Post Office route may be combined with one of the longer routes
Scheduled routes run M-F No nights/weekends or Federal Holidays. However, we will have opportunities for as-needed runs for those interested.
To qualify you MUST:
Have a passion for serving our Veteran Community
Be a Non-smoker or willing to not smoke in the vehicle during the route (VA rule)
Be able to speak, read and write English
Have a presentable and neat appearance
Have a clean driving record and current automobile insurance
Have a late model vehicle (Mini Van/Small Van or mid size SUV is mandatory due to supplies and cargo) that is in good shape with operating AC
Be able to pass a background check
Have a backup for the route
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and put it in the vehicle
Be a dependable, detail-oriented self-starter that can work without supervision
Be comfortable driving in adverse weather conditions
Previous courier experience preferred
As an Independent Contractor you will be compensated weekly and will receive a 1099 form at the end of the year for tax purposes.

As an Independent Contractor you will be responsible for all costs associated with operations to include vehicle, fuel, insurance phone, etc...
