Independent Contractor/Grocery Delivery Driver
Location: Stamford, CT
Pay: $200+ tips

Job Description: Capstone Logistics?is looking for Independent Contractors/Owner-Operators with Cargo or Sprinter Vans ONLY, to residences in the Stamford, CT area. Drivers will be expected to deliver 2-4 orders per hour (this is dependent on vehicle size) from Store to Door. No Shopping! No unattended Deliveries!

All deliveries are Local! The desired candidates must meet all the basic job requirements (noted below). Owner Operators are encouraged to apply! Being Punctual is a requirement! Being Friendly is a requirement! Communication is a key factor to your success and ours! Do Not apply if you cannot meet these requirements!

Shifts Open: Sun- Wed, Thurs-Sun, M,Tu,F,Sa
Hours: 9am to 7pm
Wed - 11am to 7pm

Pay: $10.00 per delivery (Contractor is guaranteed a minimum of 20 orders per shift) + Tips
Providing Excellent Customer Service is a must!

!! Vehicles MUST BE provided by the contractors, we don't provide them!!

Easy Requirements

18 years of age or older
A valid driver’s license and current insurance
A CLEAN Motor Vehicle Report
Ability to meet vehicle requirements (Driver must be listed on vehicle Insurance)
Must have and be able to use a smartphone
Heavy Lifting required daily!
All vendors will operate their own delivery vehicle. Stable routes and pay!
No call/no shows, Call-outs with no coverage will result in termination.

!! Vehicles MUST BE provided on behalf of the contractors!!
Fees: All I/C’s are subject to various Start-up/standard industry deductions. A few examples highlighted below.
· Administrative
· Equipment
· Insurance

On average, Fees can go up to/beyond $40/week per I/C.
