Independent Contractor Grocery Delivery Driver
Capstone Logistics : Wallkill, NY / Warwick, NY

Employment Type: Contractor
Compensation: $160 per day plus tips

Capstone Logistics is looking for Independent Contractors/Owner-Operators with Cargo vans 2010 or newer for Grocery deliveries to residences in the Wallkill, NY and Warwick, NY area. Drivers will be expected to deliver 2-4 orders per hour (this is dependent on vehicle size) from Store to Customer's Door. No Shopping! No unattended deliveries!

All deliveries are Local! The desired candidates must meet all the basic job requirements (noted below). Owner-Operators are encouraged to apply! Being Punctual is a requirement!

Being Friendly is a requirement! Communication is a key factor to your success and ours!

Multiple Shift Options: Tuesday and Wednesday only at Warwick site; however, you can work 2-4 days at Wallkill, NY site as well (For example: Tues/Wed at Warwick; Sun/Mon at Wallkill OR Sun, Mon, Thurs at Wallkill) ***Ask for more details***

Hours: 11am-7pm
Pay: 10.00 per order/delivery (Contractor is guaranteed a minimum of 16 orders per shift; the more you deliver, the more you earn) + Tips
Providing Excellent Customer Service is a must!
Cargo van MUST BE provided by the contractors, we don't provide them
Easy Requirements

21 years of age or older
A valid driver’s license and current insurance
Must pass a Motor Vehicle Report
Ability to meet vehicle requirements (Driver must be listed on vehicle Insurance)
Must have and be able to use a smartphone
Heavy Lifting required daily!
All vendors will operate their own delivery vehicle. Stable routes and pay!
No call/no shows, Call-outs with no coverage will result in termination.

Fees: All I/C’s are subject to various Start-up/standard industry deductions. A few examples highlighted below.

· Insurance
On average, Fees can go up to/beyond $40/week per I/C.
